The diversity of the culinary offer of bars, cafés and restaurants in Munich reflects the diversity of the people who live here. Besides a top of the range Bavarian cuisine there is a great selection of excellent French, Italian and Asian restaurants.

Many of the well known restaurants are situated in the city centre, though an insider will point out restaurants around Gärtnerplatz and in the Glockbachviertel as well as in the borough Schwabing, too.
