Markets in Munich

Munich offers quite a selection of markets. You will find farmer’s markets, art and antique markets, second hand markets as well as the famous Christmas markets. Top of the market season is certainly the Christmas period. In all parts of Munich Christmas markets will be held sometimes only for a weekend. Suddenly beautifully decorated stands will appear and a lovely smell of malt wine and roasted almonds will stream through the streets.
