The Augustinian is valid with the inhabitants of Munich as the place with the best beer. Beside the normal beer there is there the ´noble material´ to drink, a particularly improved beer kind with higher alcoholic content. At the square Platzl in the centre of Munich the Royal Brewery, Hofbräuhaus is situated – the most famous brewery in the world and the epitome of Bavarian warmth and friendliness, called “Gemütlichkeit”. Today the Hofbräuhaus is an attraction for people from all over the world. The Pschorr
Directly in the side wing of the new Schrannenhalle one finds in the Pschorr Bavarian titbit and beer from own brewery. Also here there is not only substantial, but also light and meatless food.
After food the immediately bordering Viktualienmarkt, one of the landmarks of Munich invites, to a walk.

Spatenhaus
Spavin house
The spavin house is named after the Munich brewery of the same name, even if it has changed meanwhile the owner. It lies immediately at the beginning of Maximilianstrasse and offers a unique look at the opera. The restaurant applies more than two floors on which also different kitchens are offered. In the ground floor there is a big guest space with traditional ambience. The first floor is divided into smaller rooms which are booked often also by whole societies. Here one has the better look at the opera. Who likes it, however, sociably, should dine in the ground floor.

Franziskaner
Franciscan
The Franciscan is also a former brewery restaurant. He is known for his veal sausages and the maybe best liver cheese of Munich. In addition one drinks a fresh wheat beer. With locals the restaurant is liked very much.
Since 2013 the Franciscan also owns Gault Millau bonnet for his excellent dishes.
