Das Kartoffelmuseum (The Potato Museum)

In Munich you will find one of the three existing potato museums in Germany. The Munich potato museum is focusing on the art history of the potato. The exhibition is based on an extensive collection of paintings (oil painting, water colour, engravings, colour prints, reverse glass paintings, modern graphic art). The potato museum accommodates also a special library for scientific purposes. The museum is situated in the former building of the company Pfanni, which in the past was producing potato products there.
