MVG Museum
The museum MVG of the Munich transport company is a public transport museum to the representation of the historical and modern public transport in Munich.
On an area of more than 5000 square metres about 25 historical streetcars (Tram), coaches and work vehicles are exhibited. The streetcars are lined up on two tracks which crossing the complete hall. To every vehicle the "curricula vitae" are also shown. Moreover, more than 150 diagrammes and other exhibits are to be seen, as for example an underground simulator in an original carriage from the 1980s, several tram driving switches, historical paintings, a small cinema and a model railway exhibition.
